Hours of Operation
Adoptions
Four Footed Friends operates by appointment only. If you would like to adopt, the first step is to fill out an application. If you are approved, staff will contact you to schedule an appointment. We schedule appointments every day of the week between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Volunteers
Four Footed Friends is accepting new volunteer applications here on our website. Staff will schedule your orientation if you are approved to become a volunteer. Once your volunteer orientation is complete, you are welcome between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. any day of the week.
There is also an evening dog walking program that requires additional training. Individuals interested in this opportunity are able to request an additional orientation. Evening dog walking starts at 7:30 p.m. every night of the week, and it typically takes about 2 hours to walk all of the dogs.
Special Visitors
Four Footed Friends takes pride in touching our community and providing enrichment and education. We are happy to host special groups (ex. scout troops, groups of individuals with special needs, reading groups, etc.). These individuals are welcome to schedule a tour of our facility, socialize with the animals, and learn more about who we are and what we do. We will accept appointments for special visitors any day of the week from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
